Eye Examination
Examination
At some point in life, everyone will need assistance with their vision. Undergoing regular eye examinations not only ensures an accurate evaluation of your visual capabilities, but also helps to monitor the overall health of your eyes. Early detection of eye diseases and health issues such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be identified through these exams.
- Whether its NHS or Private, our eye examinations are very thorough. Lasting approximately half an hour, our optometrists will look closely at all aspects of your vision and eye health.
- Our eye test includes health checks of the eye including glaucoma and diabetes checks as well as the refractive correction, all with the latest state of the art equipment, in our purpose built clinic.
- We have invested tens of thousands of pounds in our equipment to give you most accurate and thorough eye test you could possibly imagine.
- We will not take responsibility if you take your prescription elsewhere and experience problems with the glasses. We recommend you have your glasses made up with us because any problems experienced with the glasses can be rectified.
Contact Lens Examinations
Examination
Over three million individuals throughout the UK experience the advantages of using contact lenses. Not only do they provide an unobstructed view and a more natural appearance, but they also offer the freedom of not having to wear glasses. Additionally, contact lenses are less likely to become lost and are not affected by fogging or rain.
- Before fitting lenses, our Optometrists will thoroughly discuss all the options available to suit your lifestyle and eye care needs.
- Together with a detailed microscopic examinations of the anterior segment of the eye we will check the curvature of the cornea, assess tear film quality and other factors that will affect how your lenses fit.
- Regardless of whether you are long or short sighted or even have astigmatism, almost everyone who needs eyesight correction can now wear contact lenses.
- There are also multifocal options for those who need different lens powers for distance and close work or only have reading glasses.
- So whether you want to wear lenses everyday or even just occasional use we aim to find the perfect solution for your eye care needs
It is recommended to receive regular contact lens aftercare at least once a year. This allows our optometrists to assess whether the contact lenses are not having any adverse effects on your eye health and if they are providing optimal vision. During this visit, our optometrists will also discuss new contact lens options that may be better suited to your visual requirements.
